Advisory and Consulting

My consulting work centers on mobile learning design strategy, mobile performance support, and the practical use of generative AI in learning. I work with organisations to rethink how learning is designed for mobile, moving beyond adapted desktop approaches to content that’s structured, clear, and easy to use on smaller screens.

This includes reviewing existing programmes, identifying where they fall short for mobile use, and giving clear, practical recommendations for improvement. I also run workshops and work directly with teams to strengthen their design capability, helping them build confidence in creating high-quality mobile learning and using generative AI in a considered way.

My work often combines strategic input with ongoing collaboration. I advise senior leaders on design direction and standards, while working closely with instructional design teams to apply those standards in practice. This helps ensure that changes are clearly defined and consistently carried through into the content itself.

Across all of this, the emphasis remains on design quality. I look closely at how content is written, structured, and experienced on a mobile device, and how well it supports real tasks. The aim is to help organisations develop a more consistent and effective approach to mobile learning and performance support over time.
